I'm a married system admin for an entertainment advertising company in Hollywood, CA. My lovely wife is a school teacher, and we're the proud parents of a Yorkshire Terrier named Wicket. In the summer of 2005 we purchased our first house in Long Beach, CA, and are currently experiencing all the *ahem* joys of home ownership.
I love music (obviously), video games, wine, Tivo, shopping, roughhousing with my dog (Yorkies are TOUGH), and of course spending time with my wife. And parentheses.
My musical tastes are pretty scattershot, but my favorite styles are Britpop, Ambient Techno, and Indie Rock. I'm slowly branching into hip-hop.
When I started college back in 1996, I was planning to become a journalist. Writing was one of my passions, but then I discovered Quake and fell headlong into computers and gaming. I changed my major from English to Computer Science, and graduated in 2001. Yes, the five-year-plan.
Maybe this blog thing will reignite my passion for writing. I don't think it has ever really died, but it has certainly become latent over the years. Please forgive my rustiness as I expel the cobwebs from my brain's creative center.
